Global oil prices saw an uptick on Monday.

Brent crude futures climbed to USD 81.33 per barrel, marking an increase of USD 0.20 or 0.3 percent by 00:10 GMT. 

Similarly, US West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude futures rose by USD 0.9 or 0.1 percent, reaching USD 77.25 per barrel.

In Jordan, expectations are that prices for oil derivatives will rise by two and a half piasters per liter for both 90 and 95-octane gasoline, and by one and a half piasters per liter for diesel. 

The previous week saw Brent crude experiencing a decline of 1.8 percent, while WTI prices fell by 3.7 percent.
